The Great Pumpkin Carve Up Cook Off

Halloween is round the corner and Elise is on a mission. Why waste all the wonderful jack-o-lantern by-products of carved out noses, eyes, seeds, etc when they are perfectly good and edible.

Here is her idea:

This season, from now through October 31st, I invite fellow food bloggers (including bloggers who occasionally write about food) to save your pumpkin cast-offs from carving and make something yummy to eat with them. Write about it on your blog and post of photo of your Jack-o-lantern with the pumpkin (squash) dish and email me the URL (email to recipes {at} elise.com). I'll gather the entries and link to them from here.
