Blog Day 2005

So today is Blog Day 2005. "Why?" you ask? Well because if you squint your eyes 3108 could appear to look a bit like the word blog. Yeah, I know I am not convinced either - but head over to The Blog Day website and things will become clearer.

So what does one do on Blog Day? Well clearly one talks about blogs - and in particular 5 new(ish) blogs. So here goes:

The first one is not a food blog but it's my best friend's blog (who also happens to be my wife) and it's about something that is possibly more important than food so I am recommending it. It's called Migration Island, it's brand new (only a day old) and it's about migration issues (with a mainly European focus).

The second one has to be Chubby Hubby - it's relatively new (about half a year old) and has some of the best food pictures that side of the Pacific. Not to mention a really nice name.

The third one is Small Farms because I would love to take care of one.

Fourth is U.S. Food Policy because it's important.

Finally Chickpeace because its brand new and the view outside her window could not be more different from mine.
