I shouldn’t have petted that bird… (or a long-winded way to ask for contributors to the site!)

About 30 minutes from where I live, in Sicily, there is a natural reserve that is well know for acting as a temporary home for birds that are moving from the north of Europe to the warmth of Africa. I must admit that this year, with all the news on TV about avian flu I had seconds thoughts about visit the place this November.

But no, no don't worry. I am not going down in history as the first food blogger to suffer from the (apparently) ever eminent bird flu pandemic. I have however been hit by a bug of some sort - hence the relative silence on IMBB!

Which made it all the more clearer that this website can't be managed by just one person. There are so many events taking place that it is really hard to be consistent. So I am hoping there will be people out there willing to post from time to time about events they found out about and are not posted on this website yet.

The website is a normal Wordpress blog so there is no complicated technology to deal with.
