I started blogging about my cooking several weeks ago although I have been cooking for friends for years. Since the work has gotten the best out of me since I started as an environmental engineer at a consulting company four years ago, I fell of the cooking wagon for a while. My desire to keep a written version of my grandma's recipes, to get back into the old routine of what I love doing and take a break from the everyday go-go-go type of life, I have decided to commit myself to blogging.
I focus on Turkish recipes, variations of it, my "turned-pretty-good" creations based on pantry and fridge stocks, different takes on American Southern food and whatever makes me happy from other cooks' repertoires. While I cook and eat, I try many different tastes, but my addiction to certain things is here to stay forever...such as Nutella, all things chocolate, cheese, bread, olives and tomatoes!
