Help Savory Tv attend the Aspen Food and Wine Classic 2009!

Hi fellow foodies!

Those of you who know me are fully aware that I am chef obsessed. In fact, I am so entirely smitten by chefs that I have devoted my entire blog to them.

So, here is the issue at hand: I need, NEED to attend the Aspen Food and Wine Classic! The thought of not celebrating in the midst of all that culinary greatness almost brings me to tears. And, I live in Colorado, so getting there will be an easy and beautiful drive from Durango.

Here is the problem! Alas, a ticket for the entire event costs over a thousand dollars which I am lacking. Brainstorming today I’ve done everything possible within my power! I’ve entered every internet contest with event tickets. I’ve tweeted to the Festivals founder via Twitter. I’ve put calls in to all of my culinary connections in Colorado. I’ve advertised in the Aspen Newspaper, offering to do any type of volunteer work in exchange for a pass.

So here’s where you come in: This is a social media experiment to attempt to get me there!

Do you have any connections to the event that could assist me? Do you know anyone needing volunteer work before, during, or after the festival? Do you have any brainstorming ideas that could help me get in?
