I'm a caterer and blogging is just an extension of what I do and love...cooking and eating! My catering is company is 4+ years old. And I live in Western Howard County in Maryland between and betwix an abundance of local farms, creameries and wineries and I'm loving it! As I continue to wow my client with the food prepared from fresh local ingredients...so does my company continue to flourish! But I'm a bit silly so a lot of silliness gets put into my blog as does my current obession with Williams-Sonoma recipes and products. I am absolutely in awe of how wonderful each and every recipe I have tried from their cookbooks and website is so absolutely precise and delicious. I have yet to be disappointed with the outcome! As I am not a professionally trained chef/cook (albeit I have many years of cooking experience and teachings from my mother and grandmother), I consider the compilation of foods I've attempted thus far from WS my own private culinary lessons if you will. So I've decided to add this process to the blog as well. I don't know that anyone will find the blog fascinating as there are over 1000 food blogs all more impressive and "advanced" than mine. I'm just finding the process very self-fulfilling and for that reason alone...I think I'll keep blogging to my heart's content!
