Ugliest Oven Mitt Throwndown and Giveaway

My Wicked Good Dinner oven mitts are embarrassingly gross. By golly though, I love my old nasty oven mitts. It served me well over the last couple of years while cooking and experimenting, but it's definitely time for several new ones.

And, I'd like to give you some new ones, too! If you've got an oven mitt uglier than mine, post the image to your blog. Then, come on back to Ugliest Oven Mitt post and leave a reply with your URL and tell us a little bit about your mitt, how long you've had it, how you killed it, and why you deserve super neato new ones.

Post your oven mitt reply by midnight, Eastern time, February 28, 2009. One winner will receive a set (a set includes two oven mitts) of silicone oven mitts with grip teeth. Mitts are heat-resistant up to 500 degrees, fit either hand, and are dishwasher-safe. The winner will be announced March 1, 2009.

Anyone can post, but only one U.S. resident will be selected to receive the silicone oven mitts.
